Raising Cane's Sauce

Raising Cane's is a franchise that sells chicken strips & sides but their claim to fame is their dipping sauce.

Mmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmm Good.

This is my first attempt (and a pretty good one) at duplicating the sauce.

Fry yourself up some chicken strips, mix up this sauce and enjoy.

1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used Kraft)
1/4 cup Heinz Ketchup
1 tsp garlic powder
2-3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp Tony Chachere's

If you live in an area that does not have Tony Chachere's then just forget it. Don't even try.

I battled with this thing and just could not get the taste right. I added a tsp of Tony Chachere's and VOILA that was what was missing.

speaking of sauces...

if someone could figure out the sweet and sour sauce from capitan d's..I'd be ever so grateful.

I know it has pineapple, horseradish and mustard (not sure what kind) but it's sooooo good. I tried to figure it out once, but failed

It will be reddish...

With the addition of the mayo it will be lighter red than ketchup but the plethora of dry seasonings & Worcestershire darken it up a big.

This will sound strange but add one raw egg into the mix and see what happens..

And of course the one place that I reallly like.... Dan doesn't like! So I like NEVER get to eat there!

We don't have Raising Cane's around here. Don't even know what it is. But here's my question: What is Tony Chachere's??????? We don't have that either. Or else I just don't know where to look for it in the grocery store???

To some people it is THE best spice mix on the planet. Some folks I know have this on their table and it replaces both salt and pepper.

Add this to your arsenal.... Bolners Fajita Seasoning

Between Bolners & Tony C's no other seasoning should ever be needed again.
