Therefore John Hagee and others ring the bell and many who love Christ yet who are misinformed concerning eschatology, salivate at their message. Are people who listen to these men receive the Holy Ghost? I pray earnestly that anyone who sincerely loves the Lord Jesus Christ, will receive His Spirit. Yet, many will be lured in by the drama and just receive the spirit of human emotions. Are these men "knowingly" ignorant of what they speak? John Hagee wrote a book denouncing Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, the book is entitled in Defense of Israel. The mainstream Christian community raised an outcry against the teaching in John Hagee's book. Therefore he back peddled. Jentezen Franklin is a charlatan along with Hagee. Making money off the misery of others in a far off land. Butchering
Matthew 24,
Mark 13, and
Luke 21 and gaining a large anxious crowd. Telling them all that their clock is ticking out is an American pass time which goes all the way back to the Great Awakening. They pile in the pews, blowing snot bubbles and tears. Shake the preachers hand on the way out of the building. They may of received relief of their anxiety, or of their wallet during the offering. They may have caught a glimpse of the Mighty God in Christ (depending on the church) and even may have received the Holy Ghost as they sought for redemption. Not all who wander are lost, that is true. But the blind do follow the blind and they most certainly fall into a ditch.
