Farewell To All

as you know I never been one to write a farewell speech only to return in a week as many have. to those that have,that is their perogative and I've never knocked anyone for doing so. I have notified the forum when i took a leave or break but never to say I was leaving only to sneak back as someone else. I have always Been Thad and not 5 other names.

I want to say I have nothing but respect for the admin team and owners of this forum. most are my friends and I hope them all the very best with this new forum. they have worked hard and i sincerely applaud their efforts and work.
I am departing from this forum. I have nothing bad to say and I hold no ill will. may it prosper and be blessed . I have made many friends and cherish the fellowship and time we have had together. so to walk away without saying goodbye would be out of the question for me.

most of you that I am friends with have my email. hope you stay in touch.
we;ll probably visit each other in cyber world at some point.

P.S I will stick around for a little while to say my good personal goodbyes

So why are you leaving Thad? Instead of burning bridges why not just come and go as you feel? Post a little and take a break and then come back and post some more. People always enjoy when you come around and post.

Why is it necessary to say that you're "departing this forum"?

I do not want to discuss the nature of my departure.

i hope that no one will put a negative spin on this. I want to leave on a positive note and good terms.

I don't believe i'm burning bridges. most that I have made friendships with know how to keep in touch

I'm certainly not putting a negative spin on anything. Just wonder why you have to "depart". Why not just leave the door open to come and go as you wish? Making this kind of announcement makes it sound as if there's something wrong and of course then people wonder "why".

I'm not asking why -- that's totally your business -- just feel bad that you feel you can't post here.

I, too, wonder, Thad...and actually had a similar thought this morning, but Felicity is right. Just say that you'll be gone for a while, pop in and then back out again.

Barb, because of the high regard i have and respect for the admin. team, I have chosen not to go into the reasons. naturally people will wonder and of course, if the tables were turned I would be on the other end wanting to know

Thad, I'm not one of your 'personal' friends, but I want you to know that I will miss you very much. It just won't be the same around here.
