Just wanted to drop a note and say adios. This will be my last post (under any username, lol) for at least the remainder of this year.
For the record, nothing is wrong. I am not mad, upset or threatened in any way. Everything's totally cool. I just need to take an extended break.
I want everyone on AFF to know how much I appreciate you, and your friendship. I also want you to know this is not some plea for attention.
The truth is, I am involved in a new creative endeavor, and need to focus as much attention as possible in that direction.
I love you folks,
Edward
Well, now that I know that your name is actually Edward, I feel like we're friends. If there is something that I just have to say to get under your skin, I'll filter it through Rebecamia

You have ruined my night. Can't you just learn to multitask or cut back some???? Why abandon us completely???? (whine, whine, whine).
You are one of my favorite posters and I don't want to wait five months for you to post again.
Although you are not a woman you are allowed to change your mind I hope you know.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

As long as it's something I can REALLY get him with.

We can now start calling him "Teddy" just like Edward Kennedy goes by.
