Anyway,

My point of this thread was to asked the UPC folks that are PAJC in believe that if this be true about Bro Haney, "How does it effect your support of him?".

And also, "does it seem ironic that while the UC's are feeling that the UPC is moving towards a more liberal mindset that the man behind the wheel is a PCIer?"

My friend, I would be more joyous than you all if I was wrong. I do not believe I am, but it will not hurt my feelings one bit to see everyone that simply "believed in Christ" in heaven.

Of course in saying that, I understand that there will be some that have obeyed the book of Acts, and will not hear the words "well done".

I guess I could say that I am even more tight on this than Bro Epley, because he has stated before that after the rapture of the church that scripture does not give us an example of how the blood will be applied, and has suggested that it could be some other way than Acts 2:38. So I guess I am the Ultra Con of this.
So....um.....what you are saying is that there is absolutely no way for anyone to get into heaven with out the "3 skips" and a jump into heaven? Interesting. While I may not agree I commend you for you opinion. That is not an easy opinion to give on this forum. I believe in the light doctrine per se. I believe God judges and I do not and it is His heaven and not mine. So He can allow people that I may not and that is totally fine with me.

Like Jeff Arnold has said, there are people in this movement that would be so upset with God if they get to heaven and there are other demominations there. Like we had some right all by ourselves to be the only ones in heaven. The truth is that we can only go by what we believe we see the Bible says about salvation so we all have our own ideas about it. You may be right St.Matthew, but you may not. I used to feel the way you do, but after further reading and prayer I feel differently. I did not change to compromise, but I changed because what I feel God has told me and showed me.

I have one question for you. If it is that only the ones that have completed all "3 skips" and they are the only ones that will go to heaven then why is heaven so big with so many mansion? That would be like building a 100,000 square foot office space, but only having 2 employees. No sense, but God's ways is above our ways.

Is this something for you like what Felicity described earlier?

I've been saying for years now that there is a much higher percentage of UPC preachers who say they believe one thing ..... who in reality really don't .... than what most would admit to. ...

It's one thing to say that Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation and that's what it takes to be saved, but then start asking the hard questions and you hear a "lighter" view. ...

Every single person since the birth of the church who hasn't spoken in tongues will burn in hell for eternity?

1. I believe he judges too. I just believe that he will judge according to his word, and I have not found any reason to doubt what I see his word saying.

2. Do you really want me to answer this question?? I could counter your question by saying that Hell had to enlarge itself because so many stopped short of obeying the truth, but I wont. I WILL say that I do not believe the verse you are referring to is a literal promise of Rodeo Dr in heaven.

No, because while I can wish it were the case, I do not see scripturally where it is. So no, I do not believe anyone will make heaven that has not obeyed Acts 2:38. I see no "lesser light" available to be born again.

Yes, hell (hades, shoel, the grave) has enlarged itself, since folks continue to die.
