Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It isn't about true doctrine...it is about a failed marriage. Paula got out of her place and her ministry expanded at a more rapid rate than his. She desires limelight and money. Great will be her fall. She forgot where she came from.

What an absurd statement. Plenty of people obey many things in the bible without "obeying" Acts 2:38 as you see it.
Your statement was akin to saying about someone arrested for DUI "Why should they decline from driving drunk when they cheat on their taxes!".
It is good to see that good old fashioned Oneness Pentecostal "pretzel logic" is still at work full force.
