Well yes I have read the thread. Obviously I am disagreeing with your points. You have stated more than once if one has a problem shaving they have more problems than that. I would say maybe they want to grow a beard because Jesus did? Maybe because it naturally grows on a mans face.

So the fact that Jesus Christ will be the one judging people on the judgement day, and knowing He had or perhaps STILL has a beard has no bearing on THIS SUBJECT?

What if he is angry because Preachers taught his children it was somehow less holy or less presentable for them to have what HE had? That our Church standard is higher than Jesus standard?

I would want to put in my Bible study that since Jesus had one himself and the Holy Spirit never inspired anyone to preach against them if they wanted one more power to them.

Do you believe we will ever physically see Jesus again, (like for instance at the “white throne judgment”) with a visible physical body, even having a beard or not, or do you believe he is only spiritual now and forever (Christ in us, as HolySpirit)?

I always thought the whole reasoning about shaving because of the Hippies was just an overreaction, like if we today ban the use of rainbows in kids parties because of the gays.
I'm glad Bernard brought some sanity back by saying pastors shouldn't preach that having a beard is a sin, and on top of that sent a Christmas card with his own sons having some grown hair; putting shaving where it belongs: church policies.

On the other side, every time I joke with my wife saying I would like to grow a beard, she brings the not shaving armpits thing
