So if one gets baptized in Jesus name and they dont believe Jesus is the Father their baptism in his name is invalid?

If they believe God is 3 persons they are in idolatry. "Unless you believe I am he, you shall die in your sins." So you are saying trinitarians are saved through Acts 2:38?

This guy who used to be the Evangelism Director at ihop has a video about being filled with the HG, but thus far in the video it is not a part of salvation, but occurs AFTER assurance of salvation. His own statement of faith states that assurance of salvation is at "trusting Christ as savior."

The lengthy post on baptism you posted even has that they should be baptized in the titles. So the part you put in all caps is incorrect.

All those NAR groups believe the holy Ghost is a extra blessing but not essential to salvation. Because most don't even truly repent, therefore they never receive the Holy Ghost or at least the genuine thing. But they say stop speaking in english and speak forth your prayer language is on the tip of your tongue. Say Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus real fast.

That's why they are using mysticism, and meditation. New age tactics and have turned to the kundalini awakening, all because they arent teaching repentance. You don't repent for real, and desire the Holy Ghost more than anything else, your not getting it. It isn't going to happen accidently. Beware of these groups, if anyone is a cult these groups are. They are on their way to being like the Branhamites.

what is not done in faith . . .

they have no concept of baptism being for the remission of sin.

On one thread we have people saying that people baptized in Jesus name are lost unless the titles are pronounced over them. Now people who think people are saved by "accepting Jesus" are good to go because someone uses titles and Jesus name when baptizing?

If this is the case then we may as well drop the wall and rejoin with the AOG, because they baptize in titles and the name. At least they are able to show some love towards each other.

Reading your posts, you seem to believe God's actual church has been left in the dust by groups like IHOP. Do you ever stop to contemplate the ramifications of that?

And more importantly, WHAT ARE YOU DOING about the sad state of "most apostolics"? Do you pray for "apostolic churches" in your local area the way you pray for IHOP and related groups? To the same extent? With the same faith?

Imagine a man who envied the family down the street so much he could only complain about his own family, while yearning and daydreaming about how cool it would be if that family down the street only had his last name. Some might think that was covetous, perhaps bordering on adultery?
