I married into a family wherein half of them were Jewish. A rabbi explained to me how God was seen to have at least 10 emanations, each bearing the divine name. He explained some pretty interesting things relating to how meditating and praying within the reality of these emanations of God brought elevated states of consciousness to reach a deeper realization of the divine. I believe he called these sphereoths. I'm not that into it, I just found it interesting and this conversation reminded me of it.

So please, don't call me a moron. You didn't even ask where I heard this. A fool answers a matter before he hears it.

I've studied that interpretation before. It's possible that the seven spirits of God represented these seven spiritual attributes of God symbolically.
