Re: Grand Girls Update

I made this watermelon "cake" for those that didn't want real cake. It's a whole watermelon, iced with Cool Whip and added almonds and fruit. It's supposed to be iced with whipped coconut milk, but I took a short cut for the party.

Re: Grand Girls Update

Renda, This little village is soooooooo cool. I have been printing it out this afternoon (13 models) and am getting ready to assemble them for my grandson. I painted him a road track (a pond, playground, railroad crossing, etc.) on the back of a long Amazon box. The village will go well with it.

Thought you might like to have this for when your Grandgirls come for a visit.

I had some cardstock scrapbook wedding paper in Pearlescent that looks great. You know the kind that is perforated by Colorbok. The printables are in color and the shine comes through the ink.

Fun, fun!!!

Sorry! I thought I had included it. I only printed out half (enough to impress - lol) but also to see how he played with them, as they are a little bit of trouble to glue with hot glue. He loves them and I will print out the rest.

Found another link that looks really fun too.

If you want to do a little Advent village.

You are welcome! My husband told me to stop buying toys for the grandkids, but every time I go into TJ Maxx, they have another Melissa & Doug toy I have to have!

Thanks, Margie! It is a fun project. Make sure you use cardstock, which I'm sure you were going to do.
