But that cover is a bit much. Why? I guess it just makes me a little uncomfortable and it's just a reminder that if I'm serious about reaching people, I still get a little religious occasionally.
I don't consider it being religious, I consider it being biblical. There are some things that are against God's word, period. A man deliberately attempting to look like a woman would be one of those things.

Understood. But I never want my level of comfort to be determined by the righteousness of another person. I want to be more like Jesus who was able to walk into a world filled with everything that he was not. I just have a hard time imagining Jesus being uncomfortable with Adam Lambert.

You know, I have some 'unique' people in my family. I love them. Their existence doesn't make me uncomfortable just because I don't agree with them.

It's very possible to say flat out - 'I don't agree with what you're doing' - and still love the person.

I have some uncles who have had serious adultery issues. They know that I am completely against adultery. But I still love them. And pray for them.

Disagreeing with sin doesn't have to equal being obnoxious to the person sinning. But there's nothing wrong with that picture of Adam Lambert making you feel uncomfortable. It should. It's against nature. Men aren't supposed to look like women. But that doesn't mean you couldn't have a cup of coffee with him, and lead him to Jesus, if you had the opportunity.

It just so happens they have an incredibly GREAT singer who also happens to be gay.

I don't think any of this is sick. I think it's business.
good for you.

I understand. I just don't want my uncomfortable feeling to become "Ick!" rather than "Oh my, what has brought him to this place and how could I help?"

Very condescending and revelatory of your real feelings. Thanks.

He's still a GREAT singer, I love to hear him and watch him perform, and he made AI worth watching last year. His talent is still the point of this thread. Participating in this thread made me go to iTunes yesterday and re-watch all the videos of all his performances. He's pretty incredible.

"Good for you". There, I'll go ahead and say it for you.

Re: Adam Lambert

I DID not like the way Adam acted when he went on his hometown visit - - it's just my personal opinion.

Are you talking about during the show? Can you refresh my memory? I remember him visiting the theatre he performed in as a child and talked to the kids. I thought he was great in that part of the visit.

What part of the visit didn't you like?
