You seem like you'd like to see her crash and burn, Stew.
No, PO, My post was about you, not Palin. I wasn't just saying that there is plenty about her that needs to be investigating, I was saying that there are plenty of things that need investigating so you should still follow your dream of becoming an investigator. It seems that you really enjoy doing it. My opinion about Palin has always been that I did not think that it was the wisest decision for a variety of reasons. I'm not wishing anything, I'm just saying it as I see it.
For the record, I also felt that the only way the Democrats had even the slightest chance of losing in light of Bush's approval rating was to nominate Obama. I just call it the way I see it and leave my emotions out of it.

the more information about this I see, the less I think she did anything wrong.
I'm not sure how it is going to play out, but I do feel that it is still very fluid. The more I read about their history before she became governor, I began to see where people would see a serious vendetta against him by the family. It appears that they were very obssessed with punishing him to the point that third parties were calling it excessive.

I don't see a vendetta. I see a sorry example of a Trooper.
But, after listening to the Press Conference, I noticed she kept saying Walt and then would change to Monehan. That let me know that they were all on first name basis and that means they were all close and feelings are running high.

Stew, if she came right out and said "I fired this guy for not firing my ex-brother in law" I dont know that there is anything that could be done by law to her.
He is a cabinet member. the Gov. by statute has every right to fire a cabinet member for any reason or no reason.
Beyond that, there is pretty clear evidence that he was not a team player and was going behind her back to members of the legislature complaining about some of her policies. EVEN if part of the reason was the ex-BIL, there is enough evidence to suggest that the guy got canned because he wasn't doing things the way the Gov. wanted them done.
we aren't talking about some bureaucrat who got canned. this is like the President of the USA replacing Don Rumsfeld the Sec. of Defense. Bush didnt even need a reason to do that. No president does.
You can be assured from everything that is coming out of this democrat legislator who is heading up the investigation and his buddy the lawyer in charge of the persecution they will issue a scathing report on Oct 31.
and I will bet you right now that there will be no actual proof of wrong doing, but it will be a very "serious" charge.... much like what the dems did to Clarence Thomas. Not a shred of evidence but in the words of Ted Kennedy "the seriousness of the charge" is the thing.
You watch. there will be no real evidence, but they will act like she needs to be impeached but they will say that the republicans blocked it.

Actually, I like to be involved in Bible studies with our ladies. Since I received the Holy Ghost I can't put my heart 100% any where else.
I keep reading these reports, but when I lay down at night and open the Word, I find my center.
But, it would have been fun. There were a host of reporters that had bombs in their cars my Senior year and so I changed my mind. I would have been such a target. Ya think?
