Just wondered if we were close enough to meet. I live close to DFW Airport.

Many people think God can do evil and still be God. God can't do evil, and it be good, just because He is God. Evil is evil no matter who is doing it.
God is good all the time. He cannot do evil. It just can't happen. A kingdom divided cannot stand.
I'm not talking about God judging evil men or even allowing the devil to attack them.

Well who can really judge God? If what He does or allow may seem evil to us, do we lay that accusation to His charge- I DON'T THINK SO!
I believe that every thing that happens in the world and will happen, He knows about it before it happens, He allows it and even when it is extremely difficult, I try to trust His Economy over my understanding.
Is God responsible for the suffering of the innocent? My better sense says I should type, "No." But He knows about it before it happens, He has the power to stop it from happening, but He doesn't (not in all cases). With this knowledge, I still don't doubt His love for the suffering innocent or for me.

Hey Bro, I want to say this as discreetly as I can, because I don't want to anger someone who carries a machine gun.
In Gen 1:26-28, The LORD GOD gave up His power to control the earth, when He gave man "dominion over all the earth." Man then promptly gave that dominion over to the devil. Prior to the fall, there was no suffering at all in the earth. God cannot come back and say, "I take back that dominion, from mankind". That would make God a liar. WE all know that God cannot lie.
Therefore, God cannot stop "the suffering of the innocent", unless He can get some man, to co-operate with Him.

I would never use my weapons and skills on my fellow country men, unless they give me reason to....
I disagree with your interpretation of that scripture. We do not serve a God who is not in control. Our God is in control, He is allowing the times and in His economy all will be just and right -- though we may never fully understand.
As God, He is omniscient. So now the omniscient God just doesn't have any power over His own creation, according to you. So why pray-- if things are going to be the way they are going to be and God is just neutral, why pray? He can't do anything! Of course this argument is false.
Of course He is in control-- how is it then that we trust Him, depend on Him?
