The best place to go for lunch in Sussex is the Tea Room. It's run by a couple of Pentecostal ladies, and their food is excellent. The hours are limited to 10:00 AM - 3:00PM, four or five days per week, but it's worth the extra effort.

Special note to the brethren: Do not go to the Tea Room without your wife. It is definitely a flowery, china and lace, kind of place, and rural New Bunswick is not the place to try out a metrosexual persona.

The buzz from the Miramichi is that Tommy Tenney has been ministering to a packed out house on Wednesday and Thursday nights. He's been in Lyttleton, a town so deep in the woods that the residents have to come out toward town to jack deer. (For those who don't know who Tommy is. He's a preacher who became an author when he discovered that his dad's leftover sermons make real good books.)

Word is that he split a pulpit on Wednesday night, but didn't get much reaction from the crowd. They'd all seen so many church splits that a split pulpit didn't move them at all.

No splits last night,place was full,he did make the remark though that the place was so far in the back of nowhere that there wasnt cell phone connection!He had an unique message on Aarons rod that budded.

ya I had heard he was going to be in Lyttleton but I had no idea where in NB it was located .
You'd think they wouldn't try the split pulpit up here,I guess they think we are so far north that we either did not read his first book or heard the split pulpit story from the states.
