What do you all mean when you say that a thread makes you mad or feel good?

We talk about feel good threads. Or threads that make you feel bad. What are you referring to? An inanimate object like a thread? Or what people have said in that thread?

I didn't turn anything. When we talk about "thread" usually we are talking about the posts that have been made there.
