A crowd gathered together ..... under conviction of the Holy Ghost and the compelling message Peter preached to them about how they had crucified and killed Jesus of Nazareth who God had made both Lord and Christ .... came to the realization of the awful thing that had been done and asked .......
"What shall we do?"
Peter answered.....
"Repent and be baptized EVERY ONE OF YOU for the remission of your sin and ye SHALL receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Simple. Just preach it. Just do it.

I think sometimes if most of any of us are saved it's going to be a miracle so let's quit pointing fingers at others who are looked at as preaching a deficient doctrine or message of salvation.

Actually I proclaim Christ and Him crucified first, and the rest second.
Peter preached Christ, before he gave his altar call.

This is what I always get a little amused about is the fact that many of the people who you say don't believe this is necessary for salvation are getting the exact same results you are and others who believe like you do. Maybe even more and greater results and more numbers of people who are repenting, being baptized in Jesus name and receiving the Holy Ghost infilling evidenced by speaking in tongues.
Like Anthony Mangun always said and still says today....... the emphasis is........
You don't GOT to get the Holy Ghost. You GET to get the Holy Ghost.
And that's pretty much what Peter was saying ..... ye SHALL receive. It's a PROMISE and a FACT.

Seems very simple to me!

Perhaps its because in the words of Jeff Arnold , at BOTT, referring to these doctrine idolaters, "You are married to doctrine and have divorced yourself from Deity."

Doctrine is the WORD and the WORD is God and Arnold is goofy!

We preach a different message.

I am not sure about his belief on repentance actually?
