This is hilarious ... PM ... almost as good as DB'S "I'm a Fascicostal"

You forgot the advent of Apostolic songs written and worship songs sung in minor keys circa 70's[?] or 80's [?]

*bump*

Notice that none of these re-packages effected the Apostolic message itself!

I have a feeling that the twelve Apostles would roll over in their grave if they saw how different the church is today as compared to the original!

After the initial shock, they would see that the message itself is the same! After a pause, they would wonder why other modern technology isn't used!

Sheltie,

I am not surprised at your response. Knowing your background and having come from the same, I can understand you arriving at this conclusion. However, you are wrong... the clear message of the cross and what put him there ought to make any sinner uncomfortable in their sin. There is nothing fearful about the express love of Jesus Christ! Greater love hath no man than this.

It seems that now some would have a tag line added to the message, the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life, (tag line)"but don't worry about it if that bothers you. We are only interested in you being comfortable continuing in your sin!"

Sorry to disappoint you, Michael, but that is not the Apostolic message. If it were, KP would not have made the statement because he already did what you are suggesting many years ago.

I know that manufacturers of products upgrade their product packaging to reflect the current tastes and customs. For instance, Betty Crocker was changed from the 40's and 50's look into a more modern looking women.

As new ways to package items are invented, successful companies will try to upgrade their packaging. Colas and Ketchup used to always be packaged in glass bottles, but now they mostly use plastic packaging.

Is it time to re-package the Apostolic message?
Yes it's way past time.

Some folks who think they are 'stars' think it is all about them and I am not impressed. I was NOT impressed with them 30 years ago and certainly NOT impressed with them now. Same ole claptrap after 30 years it looks like they could come up with something better. Their message is so convoluted their decendants have little or no appreciation for the Apostolic message.`

Epley, It does'nt matter, as long as they know Jesus and obey the re-birth message.

The term Apstolic and men will be forgotten, but Jesus is forever.

Repentance, Jesus name bapstism and Holy ghost baptism is a force that can not be stopped.

Nothing can put the brakes on truth.

If a man preaches a message that sends a distorted message that confuses his following and feels comfortable with men who preach all types of false doctrines I am not impressed with his 'new packaging' veiws.
