Like I said ...if possible ... maybe we can grab a bite to eat w/ the whole gang ... my kids and possibly some of my siblings ... would love to meet you guys ... I'd love for my sister and husband to meet you guys ... they have started a work in Wilmington, NC and are exploring their identity.

Ok, did I misunderstand? I thought you were there in July???? If we are there at the same time, maybe we could meet up somewhere, if I can talk my family into meeting with one of my "imaginary friends".

Who is a handful? ... Loida or their first child ??.. I don't know know how Jared does it??? J-Roc can testify that Loida throws a heavy fist.

And she plays the drums real good... yeah, she knocked me out once or twice...

Summer Heritage 2005 was the best conference I've ever attended in my life. I'm not sure if you are aware that there is also a winter heritage that is held in Ft. Worth, Tx., it to is a awesome conference that just started last year.

I'm not bitter. I'm not going to make lemonade out of toilet water. NAYC is not cutting edge. They are not current.

I went two years ago and I thought they had great services. I’m sure you do have people not getting into the services, but it is way better than General Conf services in my opinion.
In Columbus, they were carrying kids out of there slain in the Spirit…. And groups of kids still singing and worshipping as they had to leave. As a parent, I really enjoyed the services, preaching, and was impressed with the worship of the young people. Believe me, if it were anything like General Conference and just a social scene, I wouldn't spend the money that I do to take my kids… I don’t make enough to just blow the money on that.

In the church my dad pastored we have been sending our kids to the last few NAYCs ... the results have been unbelievable .... some are LITERALLY spiritually alive today because of their encounter w/ God at NAYC ... I think it's so important for them to see that young people around the country are living for God.
I hope to see some of my peeps again in August.

I think that is important too, and I know what you mean by the impact those conferences make. I will do anything to make sure mine are in every conference and youth camp there is... I see a spiritual growth every year from the teaching/preaching they receive that is geared towards them.

It looks like you have your priorities in the right place ... you must be a proud mamma ... it is such a critical age ... and it's vital that there be parental supports during this time .... they are worth every ounce of investment
