There's going to be a huge whole here.

Yes, there certainly will be. She was incredible!

Hi y'all! Remember me? I know some of y'all do! Some with better memories than others, I suppose.

Anyway, I had to pipe in and say that Sherri is right. Cindy was on FCF. That was where TexasGranny made her debut. That's where I first met her. I did not move on to NFCF when it was closed and only came here for a short time some time after everything moved here. I thought I gave up forums...
... but in learning of Cindy's passing on facebook, I knew where others would understand how I feel about her... It is hard to explain to people outside of forum walls who don't have their own forum walls how one can become so attached to people they only know on the internet... but sometimes the relationships with my friends I have met on the internet are more real than the ones I have with people outside. I know y'all understand that.
As I shared on facebook:
I posted a picture of myself when I was a kid a few minutes ago and thought about how she would have "liked" that picture.
I am saddened to learn of the passing of a woman I considered to be a dear, sweet friend. I think we've been friends for over ten years, yet I never met her in person, but the friendship was real despite the distance. I am glad to know that she was born again, loved the Lord and lived a life of faith. I shouldn't be sad because there is no loss as long as I keep myself right with God. In faith, I will. See you later, Cindy! ♥
... Now I think I may just make myself a little more at home... Maybe put a picture on... and get a few icons in a fancy signature or something like that. Go comment on a few posts.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.
Wheeeeew.....Still hard.
We've nearly all "met" our dear friend. Yes, not face to face or on the phone but I am persuaded that what you read here is what she was in real life. If you read what Cindy posted then you've met her and Im sure she probably counted us all as friends.
Cindy put the "Friends" in "Apostolic Friends Forum".
BTW speaking of her becoming an admin :-). When she first came on board I was a little skeptical. When you are an admin you kinda hope for some technical know how and Cindy....well she was the Granny from Texas....not too technically inclined.
Then she was constantly bringing up situations and posts she thought needed attention. At first I thought she was going a little overboard but I eventually realized what a relief she was. She was always on the ball. I actually leaned on her a lot to take care of things while the rest of us were away or busy. She had my complete confidence....
Gosh...I wish I had a telephone to heaven right now so I can ask her for her opinion on things when we need it.
For some reason when I read her posts I always imagined I was talking to her face to face, even hearing a sweet voice going along with what I read.
I wish I could telephone Heaven and say "Cindy?.... "

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Welcome back! Lots of new people and lots of oldies gone, but there are a few of us still around.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.
Even when she corrected you, you could still feel the love. I'm happy she made it home, though I grieve for her family.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.
I hardly ever come by here anymore, & do not post! I actually just dropped by to see if there was a PM from someone who has been absent from the forum for a few years & just recently return and read about Cindy's passing!
I had no idea something was wrong & am saddened to hear of this
unexpected home going!
I did not know Cindy very well aside from this forum but from what I know of her, she was always caring, concerned, & thoughtful towards all the posters here.
I have seen her intervene on posts between different posters & found her truly wanting to be fair & respectful to both sides & for that reason she had my respect!
I still could not believe that she had that many grandchildren.
Cindy, you will be missed!
