Isn't saying that "there is nothing that can be bought there that can't be bought somewhere else" a bit like saying "There is nothing you can do after 10 pm that you cannot do before! Oh, and get off my lawn!". lol

Was this supposed to be provocative or enticing? It didn't arouse any of that in me, rather I saw it as freakishly weird and cultic with the bizarre coloring, creepy shadow effects, deliberate eroticisms and phallic symbols.

Why watch something so campy and trite and even waste time on it? There may have been something entertaining in that movie but there is also probably something good to eat in the dumpster behind my favorite restaurant... I would not dig for it however.

Just like a good (but dry) joke, "If you have to explain it, it just ain't funny anymore". By the way I didn't notice any "phallic" symbols anywhere (not saying they weren't there -just didn't see them) so I guess that means I have no "daddy" issues at least.

And I kinda liked the "bizarre coloring" and "creepy shadow effects", and yes even the "deliberate eroticism". Maybe a bit campy but then again this was made in the middle of the 80's AND it starred Roger Moore (my third favorite Bond actor).
