Re: Forced Worship

within the last 5 years I ministered at a church...whose pastor is well known in the UPCI...and during the worship service he got out a bucket of koosh balls(those squeshy rubber balls) & nerf balls. And started throwing them at people who were not performing/worshiping up to his liking. When the people would get hit with the balls they would jump, run, roll...you name it. It was VERY disturbing. When my wife had to duck out of the way to avoid being hit....she decided that she would rather "enjoy" the service from the nursery. I got the feeling that this was a semi-regular event. I can honestly say that as I sat on the platform I started praying that there would NOT be visitors there. I can't imagine what God....or a lonely hurting sinner thought of that display.

That is one church that I would never return to. That's just nuts and it sure doesn't glorify God. Why was the pastor throwing balls instead of on his face worshipping God?

Yeah, that's when I'd start playing dodge ball... See how many times he tries to hit me.... "ha, missed me again preacher.... try it again! neener neener you can't get me" lol

seriously, *which is very hard for me to think right now* worship comes from God, not man!

That is so true worship does come from God not from a man that what's his church to worship like a apostolic church.

You are right that is very disturbing.

Not only that, the pastor is degrading and humiliating those people, he has no respect for his people-imo

That is too funny! The things I learn that go on in Pentecost can never compare with anything Hollywood can make up.
