Israel prophetic clock? Where's that in the Bible? Show me the scripture where it says that Israel is a prophetic clock? Who are the Israelis? Show me in the Bible where the Israel, was allowed back into their land without rebuilding their temple? 1948? we are 60 years later, a Biblical generation is only forty years. That's the reason why the book was written 88 reasons that Christ would return in 1988. Tell, me when Jesus said not one jot or tittle shall be removed, why has the Jewish law not been kept for over 2000 years and counting? I think you need to check the Bible, and not the newspapers. Shut of the television, it's messing with your eschatology.

Sooner? Soon, quickley, dear individual, those words were spoken to people who lived 2000 years ago, and they were told the TIME WAS AT HAND.
Your soon, has been 2000 years late. God is not slow with His promises. Like Men are. Read your Bible.

Really? Exciting isn't the word I'd use for this being the last election, if that's even the case. I don't really think it will be, we still live in a democratic republic, with an election system fully established, and unless something pretty mighty dramatic happens it'll still be that way in 4 years. Oh yes, the rapture. I suppose that might be dramatic. I'm not counting on it though. Every generation says this is the end times...every generation has lived and died without a rapture taking place.

Remind me I don't really want to meet this guy in a dark alley...he sounds way too excited about something potentially horrible happening to someone... Not my kind of guy tyvm. Anticipation? Really?
As for him taking office, I think there's a possibility he won't. But I think that Obama will likely live through, or not, more assassination attempts than any other president ever to hold office. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not naive either. I'm sure the secret service isn't either. I'm proud of the men and women who work to protect our president, regardless of who he (or she? maybe yet in my lifetime?) is.

He can't. As has already been discussed, that'd be against the structure of our government. So unless the rapture happens between now and Jan 20th, this is outright untrue.

Um...yeah. Cuz we don't already have violence erupting in our nation? Is he meaning something new? Or just the same old, same old? Even something new would be the same old, same old anymore. *sigh* And in case anyone hasn't noticed, racial tension still exists and I do suspect may contribute to an increase in violence in some locations.

Good lord. If our troops are brought home, I absolutely promise you it won't mean peace! If we pull out of the Middle East with any speed, the region will completely de-stabalize.

Why yes, it would.
"Problem"? The same "problem" that supposedly will keep Obama from taking office? Or is this another "quote problem"?

But what if the rapture doesn't take place? What if this isn't the end times? What if there is no rapture? I'd really hate to have placed all my hope in vanishing and then have to, you know, live the life I was set on this earth to live or something.

Re: What Do You Think?
@Benincasa
i don't want to get in any quarrel but you don't know what's there in the Bible.Start reading it all over again for the rapture is near.(Now please don't say that the rapture is not there in the Bible).Bible says that in the end times many will be decieved , and so are you.
i can convince you right tonight about what i am saying but you yourself need to study the God's word.
For every question you asked above , read the Bible and get the answers yourself.
and yes , if i am scott----------- i will love to get visions from God like that.
Now please don't trouble your brain and end this debate right here.
God bless.

Worry what? You are just making statements, you're not proving anything.
You didn't touch my questions, you just said, here the Bible look in it and it will say "rapture?" The Roman Catholic says, here the Bible look in and it will say "infant baptism." You didn't prove anything and from what I can see you're not willing to.

Gentiles being deceived into keeping the law system that required the temple. Gentiles being deceived into circumcision, and keeping the Law of Moses, before the destruction of Jerusalem and to be killed by the Roman Army.

What debate? For it to be a debate you would have to be willing to present an argument. You are not doing that, because you don't even know what you believe.
