They ARE NOT destroying any books. And yes, I did verify that. Some of you need to learn to not be so knee-jerk and to jump on every little anti-UPC thing that is promoted. But then again, this is AFF.
Further, what really makes all of this so funny to me is that most of the ones here weeping and gnashing teeth over this are the last folks on earth who would ever buy a book written by LB and CC. After all, they are UC's. Or didn't you know that?
Further, as far as being a poor business decision, in the whole scheme of the things the value of the inventory of these few men that PPH has is an insignificant amount of their overall inventory.
Lastly, consider this:
If you were a pastor and had an assistant who was an author you probably would sell his books in your church bookstore.
But what would you do if the day came that he decided to leave your church and start a "preferred" church across town? If he solicited membership from your membership? Reckon you would keep his books on your shelves for sale?

I would like to think they could keep any material which did not solicit membership or otherwise disparage the UPC.

I'm not UPCI or WWPF either,but this is us verses them mentality amongs't Christian brethren gets old.
WWPF has a right to exist like The AMF or any another fellowship has a right to.
Likeminded people tend to stick together.

There is a saying, "Two wrongs don't make a right". I am amazed at the judgmental attitude of people and the critical spirit. If there is any small chance of something that any minister (especially leader) at UPCI headquarters has done 'wrong', it is jumped on immediately and spread as far as the net will take it, and criticized to the high heaven.
Whatever happened to love - mercy - restoration?? Some people apparently don't read their Bibles anymore, and they must be sleeping when the scriptures are read, because they don't know how to be like Christ. Let is LOVE ONE ANOTHER! I want to extend mercy and forgiveness, because tomorrow I may need it!
None of us operate the same in business and life. We don't agree on everything, but that doesn't mean we need to be so critical. Some on AFF must not have jobs or anything else to do but stay on the computer and type up the latest gossip about UPCI and preachers. How about giving a Bible Study to a lost soul instead?
