Long hair of course is more natural on a woman than a man. Women who cut their hair still value it enough that they ussually leave a significant amount for them to fix. Women seem to have a natural inclination to want to be beautiful and hair is truly one of the top things on her beauty lists. Men on the other hand are fine to get it buzzed because most don't care as much, but are more concerned with convenience.
I see where nature teaches it is a shame for a woman to have short hair and a man to have long.

you mentioned that women you knew were turned off by wearing head coverings. I think women can wear a head covering, have long uncut hair, ect. and still be attractive.
