Could someone please translate for me please

It can't really be put into words.

Just get yourself a red plaid shirt and a good pair of rubber boots, and get one of the Miramichiers from your church to take you for a tour.

You'll never be the same again.

We were missionaries to Hong Kong 1980-88. We had no struggles with the culture really. We were young and our children were 3-7 years of age and we just loved being there. I would probably have more of an adjustment now than I did back then. It was more of an adjustment for me adapting to being back in Canada after 8 years then adjusting to living in Hong Kong.

Ha! That's not the only word they pronounce differently. I have a friend from McNamee and I used to laugh at the way she pronounced "fur". Kind of a cross between fur and far.

I had so much fun on my visits to McNamee. It became my home away from home and Bro. Dudley was like my pastor away from home.

There are pockets of people on the Miramichi where a DNA test would find the whole village guilty. What's a few English classes compared to generations of marrying your first cousin?

There are other places like that in N.B. too. Should we name them?
