If you are an regular poster with a new moniker, you will remember that I have spoke many times that I was almost 24 years in the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Apostolic Faith. In this org, preachers who have been ordained are referred to as 'elder'.
I use it still because it is a term of respect...

You have always been respectful and that's a fact.

I admire your love for ministry. I use the word "Elder" very rarely. I tend to employ it only when speaking to an elderly minister or a high ranking officer in my organization.

I am not him but FYI I call our older founding pastor "Pastor or Brother Hardwick". I call our pastor Dan Scott just "Dan".
If I felt that he preferred or wanted me to call him pastor or brother I would.
I also tend to only call older saints or UPC folks "brother" or "sister". A lot of us lib exUPCers just go by first names.
I always call Kenneth Phillips "Pastor Phillips" but I alternate calling Wanda Phillips "Sis Phillips" and "Wanda". (I was specifically told to call her Wanda by KP in a business situation once)
