I do get what your saying man, but the problem with me is if the book is brought up. In any arena, books can be critiqued. I think he would agree????? If this thread stayed on topic then everything is cool, as soon as a poster mentions the book, then BAM...different opinions may arise.

For instance...I HATE Louis L'amour books..if it's brought up, I will say so, no slam on the man, his character or otherwise, just his works. Bad characters can write good books too, like Tom Clancy, he he!

BTW...didn't know he was sick, I will be praying for his good/speedy recovery!!!

Certainly I am not slamming this man and I am glad he is doing better. But his book is public he wrote it and published it and honestly it attacked what was preached to me and what I teach so it is fair game. I do not know him personally so this is certainly NOT a personal attack. I have had family members questioned about on forums and it did not freak me out. When people are public figures it goes with the territory. Now if I slandered him or besmirched his character then that would be different. But what we preach-teach-and write are fair game.
