well, who am i to say? it was ok in the OT. It is apparently the will of the KSA people; it is a law there. So, the question might be restated "is it ok to break the law knowingly, and live?"
KSA is not a democracy

My bad.
Sahih International
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

The Christian Gospel is the better religion. I just try my best and some days I don't.

Anywayssss, I read a post you made a week or two ago, and I believe you are a psuedo poster. You used the same terminology another poster uses here.

No, I do not believe the death penalty is appropriate for this case. It was a silly question.

There is a law here against desecration of the Quran and there is a law here about disrespect for Islamic beliefs and the people here take those laws seriously. Though not a democracy it is not the government who addresses gross violations of this here it is the people on the street. This is not a secret. I believe that this man deliberately and with forethought did a very stupid thing and deliberately and with forethought violated those laws.

Why is it a stupid question?
