If you can't see that a minister proclaiming salvation over someone that aint saved could cause them to have a false hope that they have arrived, then there ain't no sense in me taking more time in it.
I have never stated that God cannot draw folks out, but he will not make them come. And BG causes many to stop moving forward because they believe they are already saved. He gives them a false belief of salvation, thereby stopping them from pressing into real salvation.
But I am wasting my fingers, as I am Water & Spirit, and you are not.
Billy is grace and faith. Your words seem to diminish the power and purpose of God. God is in control, not all our jaded ideas.
If the OP message is the most important for the masses to hear, why does God not get it out in a very clear and visible way. It seems he really does not care about the lost, since there is not a high visibility of the OP message?
Does the future of the masses of the earth depend on the efforts of the OP messengers, or does it depend on a Heavenly Father that is doing it His own way?

I can't accept your small mindedness when it comes to what God can or cannot do. If the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is preached and folks place their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation as a result, I believe there is power in the preaching of the cross. I'm sorry that you don't. It's too bad that God won't allow you to be God, eh? He is very capable of leading those who have truly come to Him into a lasting relationship that results in a fruitful life in the Spirit.

Can anyone take a stab at reconciling this set of verses ?
Were the Samaritans saved before they received the Holy Ghost?
Acts 8:12 - 15 (KJV) 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Romans 8:9 (KJV)But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Does the Spirit dwell in us before we are filled with it?

This thread wasn't started about his doctrine but his life...
Well, I guess he lived a pretty good life for a deceiving false prophet who is unsaved, unregenerate, and heading for Hell. (at least he falls into those categories in the minds of some here).

"Though his voice may be among the most prominent of evangelical leaders who decry the ghoulish practice of abortion, Dr. Billy Graham, the Prince of Preachers practices spiritual abortion evry time one of his crusades invades a city! Proclaiming the deceptive practice of 'accepting Christ' as salvation, Dr. Graham is one of Hell's superstars in twisting scriptures to produce no effect! How many people leave a Graham crusade thinking they're 'saved,' when really all they have received is an evening feel-good religiosity?"

Does the Spirit dwell in us before we are filled with it?
The Holy Spirit comes into our heart to dwell at salvation/regeneration.
We could say that Jesus comes into our heart as the Holy Ghost.
After we are saved or born again, we are encouraged to be filled with the Spirit.
The Apostles and others were "saved" and their names were recorded in Heaven. Then on the Day of Pentecost they were "filled" with the Spirit. Peter was there among those "filled" with the Spirit on Pentecost Sunday in A.D. 30 but he was "filled" again in Acts 4:8 and filled again in Acts 4:32-32. Before his being filled with the Spirit or baptized in the Spirit on the day of Pentecost, he was a called minister and apostle of Jesus and empowered to work miracles in Jesus' name. When he was filled with the Spirit in Acts 2 he spoke with tongues. When he was filled with the Spirit in Acts 4:8 he spoke the Word of God with boldness. When he was filled with the Spirit he spoke the Word of God with boldness.
