That's awesome, my prayers that he will see the latter rain.

Congratulations, Matt!! I shall be praying for him.

Sadly, Islam is not a peaceful religion unless it is in a very tiny minority. I fear that our friend in the mask may just be wicked. Evil need not posess a man for a man to be exceedingly wicked. I wish that I could say otherwise.

Ha this is a beautiful book. I'll always be a Western Christian, God help me, but...
and ya, guys like in that picture don't have a leg to stand on, please.

and it is not any tiny minority, that tiny minority just makes it onto tv. i've been around them forever, and right in Jerusalem, never had any problems. stop.

Re: What are you doing for the Kingdom today?

Well, I'm only about 15 pages in, and it is just the first 5 books of the Bible reinterpreted or whatever. Beautiful, thought provoking language, even translated. I started reading it to see if I can find anything to disagree with, but I doubt I will. So, I'm being extra cynical with it, which right now feels like nothing so much as...scolding a three year old for bringing you an ice cream cone with a big grin, for some odd reason.

"For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful"

is a frequent refrain.

Re: What are you doing for the Kingdom today?

Well, it is written to a different mind. Comes across as more graceful, to me so far, a lot of "Most Merciful, Oft Returning," a common refrain, with somewhat different symbology, yet still similar. Hasn't disagreed with the Bible in any respect that I can find yet, except reads more spiritually than the Bible, at least at the beginning, whereas the Bible to me has always been very literal, Adam did this, Cain did that, build it this high, etc. These names are all mentioned, and the contexts are similar, but the stories are inevitably less literal. So far.

I'm in a building with three people in it, and all three are texting or posting.
Hmm.
