I know it's silly. LOL That's why I said it.

I'm playing with you. Does that make me a liar? Or was I just playing?lol

But... now that I think about it... I am Dutch/Irish. Who has the right to condemn me over my cultural heritage and identity? Ever notice how the racists are the first to say, "Awwww... now c'mon. That's not racism." Think about it. I'm proud of my culture and heritage. Why condemn me if I keep some European customs?

I mean, the Maori are still allowed to do their hakas... and some of them are UPCI. What gives? Is the Maori culture superior to mine???

Re: Is Christmas “pagan”?

Like Aquila said...people cry about paganism at Christmas being wrong.

Then they go to their church buildings (pagan origin), sit in their pew and listen to a sermon (pagan origin) from a pulpit (pagan) on an elevated platform (pagan) by a single Pastor (pagan idea). Then they pay their indulgences and church taxes (pagan and Catholic) and go home without any thought or anger over all the paganism they indulge in every week.

I swear, do peopel not read Paul when he spoke about just eating the meat put in front of you whether it was intended to be for an idol or not. You know the true God so the idol is a sham. Just eat the meat and thank God for the food.

You'd think people would be able to do the same for Christmas.
Poor comparison. Eating meat in market place is not even remotely close to partaking of pagan customs.

Would it be ok to offer meat up to God like pagans do? If one them get saved can they continue the practice but change it to offering it God?

Oh, don't forget. They have a tiny wafer and a thimble of grape juice on New Year's Eve. (pagan Catholic)

It's "the lord's snack"... not "The Lord's Supper."

What do you think of the Maori people who do their tribal haka dance when the preacher starts preaching about the power of Jesus?

One pagan act doesn't justify another. Does it?

Ah... spiritually yes. But that doesn't mean I'm a zombie with Jesus inside. I'm still Dutch/Irish. God made me that way. Is there a problem with me being Irish???
