These men of God would rather have a minister commit adultery than to not preach standards.
something just doesn't sound right about that.
almost like the member of the General Board who is alleged to have said, "I'd rather have my daughter drunk on a bar stool than sitting in a Trinitarian church." page 283 of Christianity Without the Cross

Adultery is still wrong. Fornication is still wrong. Lying, stealing, cheating and coveting are still wrong.
However, this generation does not want to hear the truth.
As I said earlier, nobody's a sinner nowadays.

I know of a Pastor that supposedly said he would rather his people backslid than to go to a UPC across town that was not hardline like his church is.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

And those termed liberals run with statements like these so they can forward their cause...
no wonder cons are looked at in despisement...
With statements like these, NObody would want to be a part of them.
Too bad the minority speaks for the majority

Re: Ballestero's The Saved Backslider
I see a lot of "allegedly", "I heard", "someone said", on this thread.
You know, I hear a lot of things about those who are classified as liberals.
But I don't spend time in bringing them up here and trying to paint every liberal with that same brush.
I KNOW things that I don't bring up, because there is no point to it.
We are all human and should be aware that we can all fall.
