All unrighteousness is sin. .according to the bible. That means it is in your court to demonstrate how tv is practicing righteousness.

The tv arguments are tiresome and old. Lutherans say anything goes unless the bible specifically forbids it. So they are all german beer drinkers.

We loaded the kids and went to the lake friday night. Living outside tv reception, cell phone coverage and power for games is a 2 day fast for years. Kids have less anxiety when they have been off the games and videos for a day or 2.
Games and tv alone interfere with voice and eye contact required for being a parent.

Sigh, if you could not detect the sarcasm, we are doomed.
1) TV is not a Sin in itself, only when it take a Priority over godly actions
2) Anything that takes priority over godliness is a Sin (Be it Computers, TV, Sports, Adult Relationship in Marriage, etc.)

Balance is good. I believe the history of teaching and preaching aginst TV/Movies was the following
1) They took up to much time out of your day
2) Could be very addicting
3) TV was much harder to filter what came in (compared to going to the movie theater)

That being said, the Internet is even worse then TV (and some do preach against it).

Will having/watching TV send you to Hell? No in itself it will not. However, some of the things you watch might not be wholesome. And for some people, why take the chance.

Random post, but awesome also.

What particular car move are you going to try? Should I be searching the news for someone tossing a whale out of a car on the end of a pier, or driving a Ram pickup on an incredibly steep grade through a burning ring of fire?

Pics or it didn't happen!

lol

I told my son to put away his gameboy when he was young. He told me it "enhances my hand eye coordination"
