I know that you have been to see Chicago several times so I wouldn't condemn you.
So it begins. You're going to report everyone's movie viewing history, right here on this thread, aren't you?

So, that got me to thinking. All of these actors and actresses are married in real life to someone else, yet they share some intimacy on screen. Would that be considered adultery in God's eyes? Are we supporting this by watching and buying their movies?
This is the post I was referring to Hoovie.

I have sent emails to Netflix to get a list of the movies you have viewed Timmy. I should have the list by the end of the week.

My Mennonite family and friends (at least some of them) would agree with that thought. We are teaching our children the value of stage acting and drama from an early age, but I can see for some children it may be an issue.

You drama people have no sense of what sin is. LOL

My wife and daughter love drama and the stage. Cody and I we mostly endure it and we pretend we are enduring it even when we like it.

I think that it is easy to turn your head and not watch. Truth is that I believe that you can watch those and be ok, but gotta be careful.

Good post. Like Passion of the Christ, for instance. To expose a child to that much violence and human suffering is incredibly irresponsible in my opinion, but I know those who did. What's the right age? I don't really know.

Now that was a good movie. Not too often you get a horror-ish type movie that has some laughs in it.

It keeps us from getting in compromising situations with movies.
That has been our line, as well, Sherri. We were even more restrictive until our children were sixteen and above. We had a blocking device called TV-G, that blocked out objectionable language as well. It doesn't work with digital, so we try to review movies on line before watching. I believe there is a new TV-G out just recently that is digital, I highly recommend it, it worked great. It blocks bad words, and substitutes a acceptable word as a caption. I really hate the foul language, it is just not necessary at all.
