No way. Strom Thurmond's campaign....look it up....was about one thing and one thing ONLY. Segregation. Keeping blacks away from whites. It was his ONLY issue in the campaign.
And Trent Lott said, "Things would have turned out much better if Senator Thurmond had been elected president. There's only one thing that could have meant. I can't see it any other way.
Only one republican, that was publicized anyway, came out and spoke harshly against it.....President Bush.
I know what it was about. I heard Trents comments and it was vastly more innocent than you are making it out to be.
It was at an old mans birthday party. good grief.

a president that committed a felony by lying under oath
....which was the product of desperate republicans on a witch hunt. The whole thing was a sham. I seriously doubt if there's one issue with which I would have agreed with Clinton. But if you don't like him, vote him out. That never happened. So, the next best thing? Start a witch hunt. They're doing the same thing to Barry Bonds right now and wasting MILLIONS of tax-payer dollars.
I have to say, though, that Beck is quite brilliant. He's good at what he does, if that's what we are counting here.
And his tears just mean he probably is passionate and actually believes half of what he says. He gets blasted for that so much... that and crying about his faith. I admire that part actually. But it does support the idea that his arguments tend toward the emotional and spastic side as well.
Yup. Does this say anything about Pentecostalism also???
