...Oh, and as far as JS goes I would have had some respect for him if he had come clean and repented on his on. He did not do so until he was exposed. I watched that Sunday program live where he cried those big ole crocodile tears and wailed that he had "sinned against my God". Well he had been sinning against his God for some time and had kept right on preaching hellfire and damnation for others with no effect on himself. Only when he was exposed did he suddenly have regret and repentence in his heart. That is the way it is with most of the Pentecostal preachers who commit sexual sin. No sorrow until they are caught and see their ministries and livlihoods going down the drain. When JS got caught his program was on 3,000 television stations and cable channels each week. That was huge by any standard.

Truth is that I haven't listed to him in about a year or more now that I think about it. The lastime I heard him he was preaching about the outpouring of HG. It was a great message. Something that would fit in EVERY Apostolic Church in America. Shouldn't have judged him by one sermon, my bad. I will retract my previous statement....THIS IS MY RECANTATION....But I am sure even Reverend Wright preached an ok message every now and again.

I've noticed that people that says "You know I dont care what people think when I say..." tend to be people that have a inflated and somewhat narcissistic view of themselves since they are basically admitting they are callous to the feelings of others as long as it makes them feel good to take the perceived high ground. And they also tend to say it when they are in a friendly crowd... they are usually cowards when faced with a heckler in the audience.
Caesar was both a pagan and a much more evil man than Obama... yet Paul said to obey him and the Roman government... and to pray for them since human government is fulfilling one of Gods purposes.

Yeah true, but in my experience, when most people say they don't care what anyone thinks, they're very caring what people think and are trying to talk themselves out of us.
Three or four years ago, our local cable provider carried, on a remote channel, the Jimmy Swaggart Show, or whatever it's called these days. I also have a close friend who was the audio guru for the telecasts during the Swaggart glory days, and he also recorded with him.
The whole thing there is sad these days. There are 150 people crammed in the front 2 or 3 rows of a 7,000 seat building, and the Swaggarts are taking constant swings at everyone in Christianity, pretty much. It seems like everything they do is because of what people think of them.....which isn't much.
Incredibly, they still bring in 50 million+ annually in donations, with most of it coming from foreign countries (that this in a Christian magazine...can't remember which one)
But... but.... the LORD gave him that message!
