Re: DKBs 1st Test: Will He Uphold Manual w/ Craft?

I didn't say there wasn't a form.
I said no-one has filled one out...Do you know one person who has?
I don't know one person who can name ONE person who holds a license with the WPF.
Funding comes from other forms.
Have you heard of REACH WORLD WIDE?

Michael, help us all out - when you respond to someone, please hit the "Quote" button at the bottom of the quote you're responding to. I'm certain that the folks you are talking to are following you just fine, but those of us who are just nosing into your business could use a little help.

You can highlight and delete the lengthy portions and replace them with an ellipse - the three dots ...

I'm not interested in becoming a member, just curious as to what they ask for when a person wants to become a member.

I might not be strong enough on "holiness" for some of the WPF ministers.

I am sure you are right....

I have enjoyed reading your thoughts on issues and knowledge of pentecostal history while lurking around here in the past. I would be happy to 'fellowship' with you, as would my husband... even if our cards don't match up....

I can't believe they're using Coldfusion... d'oh!

But you can download the "APPLICATION FOR MINISTERIAL MEMBERSHIP" right from this link: http://www.worldwidepftestsite.com/g...pplication.pdf

... and I don't want to hear about how "Scooby Doo" or "Sister Amanda Hoggenkiss" had applied and were rejected. This is for informational purposes only!

Sam carries something like 20 cards. He's bound to have one that does match up.

Actually, I only have one fellowship card.
If this works, I'll attach a copy.

I downloaded it and looked at it.
I didn't apply for membership.
I thought the dues were a little high at $60 a month.
I wonder if they offer a senior discount.

I remember when I applied for license with the ALJC.
That was back in the nineteen seventies.
I was a sectional youth leader, filling in after someone had left.
One time at a youth rally, before the service I was called to a meeting in the church basement.
The District Superintendent was there and so was my pastor (who usually didn't go to youth rallies) and it was at the sectional presbyer's church so he was there. There were also a couple of other ministers. I thought maybe I was in trouble. They asked me if I was interested in continuing on as sectional youth leader and said that if I was I would have to take out license because that was a requirement. I didn't even know that but I agreed to go ahead and take out license if I was voted in. Well, I got the job and filled out my application. I don't remember what the dues were but I think back then it was just one annual fee --I may be wrong about that. I asked my pastor if I could take my dues out of my tithes and he agreed. The grandson of the district presbyter was there and he asked his grandfather (who was also his pastor) if he could take his dues out of his tithes and he was told "no" because the tithe goes to the pastor.
