We men wear long pants and if the are suit pants they are usually a wool blend and hot. We wear suit coats and a tie tied tight around our necks too.
What if we came to church without socks on?

Can we wear see-through socks then? Some of mine are see-through around the toe area... (sorry, too much information... or maybe too much coffee).

By the way the hope thing is not something that I preach, it is for my girls only. We will probably have some women here tonight without hose. But it is a platform standard.

Just make sure they wear knee highs on foot washing night and ask the ladies leader to have them TAKE OFF THEIR STINKING hose!!!!!

My Mom though she was Baptist, believed it was biblical to be faithful to the house of God and she believed it was biblical to tithe.
She didn’t wear pants. Her pastor never taught against them, that was just her personal conviction.
Now we have Pentecostal women who see nothing wrong with wearing them.
Although she didn't understand the Pentecostal's, she didn't bash them.

That's cheating. If you're going to force them to wear hose every time they go out of the house, you should make them wear the full hose. Otherwise, you might as well let them wear tennis shoes with the knee highs since those are like socks.

Sure you can wear knee highs (see thru socks) if you want. We won't tell anyone. Just make sure not to cross your legs and let anyone else know you're wearing them.

You might want to have someone do an inspection. Some of those women might really be using the spray on hose and wearing closed toed shoes so you can't tell the difference.
