Really? We carry quite a bit of cash when we're traveling--usually around $400-$1,000.00. (Split between my purse and Jeff's wallet for safety.) AND the bank card, of course! You need cash for quick stops, tips at hotels, emergencies, etc.
If I DID have a large quantity of cash for some reason, my SUITCASE is where it would be, rather than on my person. Isn't that what he did? Stuck it in his suitcase? LOL!!!!!
I do agree that it would have been wiser to wire the money, and not risk losing it in his luggage, among other reasons, but I don't agree that carry money while traveling is in itself a cause for suspicion.
