Well, this girl took shame to do something even more reprehensible. Shame should cause our head to fall that we disappointed our Maker. I didn't say Christ "went out of his way" to hurt anyone's feelings. Shame is a great human emotion. Just like anger, but gets chalked up as a negative thing when it's a natural emotion within the right confines.
BTW... rarely do women just "get impregnated". Nice sanitary way to avoid saying "fornicating", "having sex". He is a loving God. Shame will tell her to repent and be a great mother. Condemnation pushes her further away from God and likely to make a far worse decision - murdering her child.
