Yes, it certainly is and now we see the polls tightening. All that means is that the pollsters don't want to lose their credibility so they are straightening out the figures!!!
It's neck to neck and McCain will win!
We can only pray!

Who knows. If the GOP gets this sense from enough of their blind supporters, the political survival instict may force them to start actually governing in line with what we want...then our work here will be done
Mike, I have said this for years. but I will ONLY work that direction if one steps up and does it right.
If they run a presidential candidate without so much as a single member of congress, I am OUT!
The way to do it is build a grass roots organization, win some local elections, win some state legislatures, and some governorships. Gain seats in the house and senate, then and only then when you have a seat at the table and some serious buz, try for the white house.

not doing it that way is a recipe for disaster.
Absolutely. If Party C would set up a plan and decide for the first 12 or 16 years, they we're going to run for local state leg races, mayors, Governors, and then begin to build up to Congressional races and not seek the Presidency until they had a good degree of credability with voters, it could work.
Showing up every 4 years and asking for the keys to the country as a relatively unknown party won't work.
