Very good point. Obama has done little. He has voted "present" more often than takiing a stand. He never had reached acrossed the isle. He was just a community organizer and with very questionable characters. He has not really "done" much other than spend 19 months of his time as US senator tooting his own campaign. He is not taking time off as he is too much in tune with his own agenda. Very obvious!

Here's my honest thoughts...
I wasn't surprised that McCain made this decision. However, breaking the debate.....well, not crazy about it. I don't think he should postpone it.
If Obama had called off the debate, honestly, I would have been shocked, because it's not his character to do so. While waiting on the news of the Obama campaign to respond as to what they would do, I really did wonder, even hoped for a split second that the 2 sides would come together for one day and deal with this and keep the Friday debate on. But, alas, ho-hum, ...not.
Obama has the right to do as he feels is right just as McCain does. Do I think this is a ploy that McCain is pullin? Pleaze. McCain doesn't backdown or run scared , let alone for a debate.

You are right about this. McCain is the one who wants to debate. I am sure when he does debate that he will win over Obama as Obama will not have his proctor in front of him to read. When he has been given hard questions and not a given speach he stutters a lot. Many think he stutters as he has to weigh out the answers to make sure that he is Politically correct as not to ruffle feathers and lose votes.

That's going to be the interesting thing to watch. I'm not sure how this will play out. McCain could dig his heels in and just say he wasn't coming.
With Ole Miss, the Commission on Presidential debates and the Obama campaign wanting to procede, it'll be interesting to see what McCain decides to do. This election is getting more and more interesting everyday.
