Re: Why Did God Create Lucifer?
Would those of you who have children, have had your children if you had the foreknowledge to see their future and you saw that they would choose to reject God and burn forever in a hell?

Bro Blackwell,
With all due respect, I think we try to put God into our way of thinking.
Remember, this is a God that wiped out the then world of Noah, I am sure there were youg children including infants.
He is all loving and merciful, but he is also holy and just.

This I understand. I am just trying to add a new twist to the original question. However, killing people in a flood and toasting them for eternity are two different things.

Is it, what if his holiness & righteousness is so strong that he has no choice according to his character to do so.
That makes the story of the cross so compelling, that he would divinely intervene to redeem his creation who deserves it.

Re: Why Did God Create Lucifer?
FTR, if I had a say as God, there would be no more suffering and everybody would go to Heaven and there would be no hell--except for the bad people!!!
Probably why I ain't God.

Bro Ron and Blackwell and Bro Timmy? , Hebrews 11:7 says that Noah condemned the world. What do you say about that?

My view on that scripture is that it says that in Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
TNoah obviously believed God that when he said he was going to flood the Earth, he was going to do just what he said.
In believing God was going to do this, by him building that Ark, he was without preaching, condemning the world by preparing to be delivered out of it.

Oh! but, Noah was preaching, ( II Peter 2:5).
I contend that God could not have sent the flood, unless He had a man to agree with Him. Enoch first prophesied the flood, when he named his son, "Methuselah": which being interpreted, means: "when I die the deluge will come". Everytime Methuselah said his own name, he was agreeing with God's plan to destroy evil mankind. Next came Noah, who built the ark also in agreement with God's plan.
Except for creation, God has never done anything in the Earth without a man/partner prophecying it first.

Re: Why Did God Create Lucifer?
Then you have to ask the question: Would God extend mercy if He didn't think someone would accept it?
