It would be up to the members of this thread to be as civil as possible.
If that is possible in Thads Tub.

You know, maybe it'd be a good idea to pray for Daniel - being a single dad with two children and going through things in his personal life could affect how he was here.
I'm sure he wouldn't mind some prayers thrown his way instead of a ***newsbreaking**** thread.
Just a thought.

Not exactly a greenhouse for healthy discussion Bro.

It's still the "holidays." And now a New Year. Things get shaken up from time to time and a new deck gets put on the table.
Are we still too thin skinned about the "cult" accusations? I mean as a group? From my reading of history, everything's a cult. I've worked for companies that had more "standards" than any church I've attended.
If everybody's a "cult," then nobody really is. In ancient times "cult" was a good thing.
And you're no "real" "con," PP. You're too real for many of the labels we throw around.

Yes indeed, I would like to see that post which broke the camels back.

Also....
This is not some "bombshell" about some unknown faceless persona that we can all pile on with no repurcussions. This is THE top poster on this board.
Be careful.
And I am not saying I disagree with what was done.
But how about we just conduct ourselves with class and dignity, move on, and get back to the business of building the social pangea I have in my avatar?
I don't know about you folks, but I miss the fun stuff we used to do around here. Fishing, sports, the memory threads...all of that was a lot of fun.
What is even more amazing is that when we focus on those things the other stuff fades into the background. There are some wonderful people who post here often, and I have every intention of keeping them as friends. There are others I haven't had a chance to kindle a friendship with because of all of this other junk.
Let's move on.
