I ask again then, why didn't you tell TruthSeeker he didn't know what HE was talking about since HE was the one that said Morton used to preach against Internet? hmmm

It looks very suspicious like you are just trying to pick a fight with me

Because someone preached it at PSR means someone in that group was against it, which goes against your implied argument that nobody except that "one in colorado" is against it

The point was and still is, yes its not uncommon for UCs to have, at one time at least, preached against Internet

This has nothing to do with me knowing what Im talking about. I simply relayed what I was told by a young person in that church and it's really NOT that big a deal that you are trying to make it. Nobody accused Morton of immorality.

I don't give a hoot of a church takes a stand against Internet or TV if that is what they want.

Pasto Morton preached against it at PSR, heard it myself. Spoke about how when TV came out they took at stand because "control of the knob" then spoke about now internet(against). I was member of church where pastor came out from Morton.

Not a big deal he changed his mind.

I know he didn't but I've heard the elder use the same scenario and he is not talking about the use of internet

Re: Fresno, CA churches??

This is silly. I know what I hear, attended church pastored by one of his ministers who himself preached against internet but now has church website. Same pastor was against perm hair but then allowed. My wife first to be used on platform with permed hair. He reconsidered, I think even counseled with Bro Morton about it, then allowed it.

Not a big deal for pastor to change a stance.

Vaughn Morton is the Pastor...if you like that fine.
The church hasn't been UPCI for a very, very long time. It is conservative, but I know the pastor tries to take "life" into account and it's not so much a "control your life" kind of place.
