This morning we went to IHOP .... Ron took us to Lake Travis ... WOW~~~

it was beautiful ... very scenic and unbelievable mediterranean style homes overlooking the lake ....

Glad you guys finally met...and Lake Travieso sounds like something to envy...have fun and drive home safe!

Lake Travis is very beautiful. One of my big regrets is that I did not buy some lake property when I moved to Austin in 1983. It would have been a tremendous investment.

One of our favorite places to take visitors was to the Oasis restaurant at Lake Travis to watch the sunset over the lake from a deck high up on cliff. I heard it burned down a few years ago. I hope they rebuilt it!!

Dan, I understand you've been gone a while from the Apple and your tastebuds must have been seared....I'll have to Fedex a pie to you from Lombardi's established in 1905 in Soho or from Grimaldi's in Brooklyn to bring you back to reality.

If you did, I'd be calling you Uncle CC.

They're rebuilding it right now. They're also doing road work around it to make room for the expansion they're building into the remodel.
