They smartened up about 11:30 at night when the water started coming in, and got out. Came back to a flooded mess to say the least.

Keeping them all in prayer for the second round. Storm is supposed to weaken to a CAT 2 by the time it makes landfall. It’s wobbling and looks like it may follow the Canadian model. Thank you for your prayers. We are getting a lot of rain way before the storm. I’m expected a lake in front of the house by morning.

Rahm Emanuel isn't the first politician to make this type of comment. They all understand it's meaning. It's an agenda as old as time. I personally am not convince that we have the technological skills to steer or "cook up" a hurricane. It is way more complicated then one would think. Living where I live I've learned to track storms, they are unpredictable and gain and lose strength at the least amount of changes. To accept that weather can be manipulated to such a high degree, I see no possibility that science has gained that knowledge. Now, can someone use a disaster to gain profit? Yes, there is a good possibility that may happen. The world is filled with scoundrels and dirt bags. Men and women who are parasites looking to make there living off of another's misery.
There are so many videos out there bringing up all sorts of stupid foolishness. That's what the Internet is for, and social media catapults it to a viral conclusion.
Time proves all things.
We have to pray that the Lord Jesus helps those who are having real problems in real time.

I'm convinced they can affect and possibly even "steer" storms in a general sense, the Air Force back in the 90s announced they were going to "Own The Weather" by 2025, we were doing weather modification in Vietnam, Dubai recently messed up their weather mods and flooded the place. China's been doing it too.
But personally I think they blew the dams, just like in New Orleans. There is simply no way a medium hurricane in the Gulf is going to do more devastation in the Appalachians than Katrina did on the coast.

I understand what you are saying. But it’s just very complicated. More than you and I can imagine. A hurricane has many different variables which affect its performance. We think it’s just being driven like a kite, or a spinning top. But really weather patterns from thousands of miles away is effecting its movement across hundreds of miles. It’s electrical, it works with heat, and cold, dry, and moisture. It would be easier to clone Donald Trump than to steer a hurricane to exactly where you want it. As far as the dams, locals say they overflowed. 42 trillion gallons of water rained down during the storm. Yet, a huge wave of rain bands hit before the storm arrived. This overwhelmed the dams, and they let loose the water. 1916 the same thing happened. Okeechobee overflowed in 1928, and is still one of the deadliest storms in Florida history.

The rain is coming down in buckets right now. By the time Milton gets here it will find the ground thoroughly saturated. The front yard is filling up fast. I guess the water will be up to the front door by the morning. Roads will be flooded.

We were but I'm not getting flooded, I live on the Sebastian river and the storm water drainage system works pretty well in my area.
Palm Bay and Satellite Beach are experiencing flooding.
This guy is an ultra nerd meteorologist and gives the best explanation of all the various factors playing into Milton's development.

We have the worst drainage in Florida. That’s because we are Broward/Dade. Our Whole Foods parking lot gets water to a foot deep with a bad rain storm. My front yard and back yard is good for a foot and a half. This hurricane is predicted to have 895mb as it hits us. That is a crazy intense storm. We are on the dirty side of the storm, so this should all be interesting as it approaches. Miami has issued their state emergency. This is mainly because Miami Beach can go underwater with just a light sprinkle of rain with a slight breeze.
Only Jesus will be able to get us through this.
