Just like the tv preachers he ask tho poor to give him the $1200.00 check from government so he can give to preachers. These preacher don’t deserve the 1200.00. They chose not to pay into S.S. ea year.

There was a live video on FB showing maybe 75 or more of his congregants outside of the jail, along with several of their buses.

I agree that the charges are bogus. I saw the video from the local news. Yes, the bus was going a bit fast in reverse, but it stopped several feet short of the protester. Attempted assault with a deadly weapon is a reach and a good lawyer should be able to get it tossed.

I don't believe the charges are the big issue. The big issue now is the video showing not only him, but someone else from that church was in a white truck and swerved towards the same protester at a high rate of speed. An arrest warrant has been issued for that driver as well.

So now you have the Pastor and a parishioner losing their cool and acting out in a dangerous manner. While folks will support a Pastor fighting to continue having services, I doubt others outside of his congregation will support his other actions.

I saw his video and heard what he said. Rev. Spell wasn't trying to fleece anyone. Just stop.

What he said was that evangelists and missionaries haven't had an offering in over a month, and urged people to consider giving their stimulus check as an offering to the evangelists and missionaries.

He then said, if they didn't know how to give the money to evangelists/missionaries, they could donate on a website and he would send the money to them.

First, he's been released. I watched it live on FB.

Second, I saw him talk with the press and claim that he was arrested for defying the law and Governor and continuing to have church. That's not why he was arrested.

He was arrested because he was charged for a criminal action. I don't agree with the charge, but that is why he was arrested. He wasn't arrested for having church.

It's hard to defend Rev. Spell, when he and his daddy are not honest about the reason for his arrest.

He’s a wealthy guy. Didn’t hear him say he would give. How can anyone call themself a Christian and do what he is charge with. Saw the bus and pickup video you can’t defend that.
