I'm sure that would have been nice to have known BEFORE.
I am sure there are some who have sincere convictions or beliefs (I can respect that)... but I would say that someone to go to that extreme in legislation has a problem that goes much deeper.
Kinda like those who are so hateful about some standards, and feel so strongly about enforcing them upon others...they seem to have a fixation because they are envious of those who do have liberty.
Things like what have been discussed on this thread should be left up to couples and their personal preferences.

There were some serious issues, as you would expect. But, I just felt bad for the congregation. Such guilt and condemnation, and it showed in their countenance.
Of course, it wasn't just this one issue, but this man exercised total dominance over these people, and I thought I would be the one who would eventually restore the joy, lol. How naive.
But, I've always been curious as to where this idea of OS and AS being equated with homosexuality originated.

I believe with all my heart that we are living in another time, with a generation
comparable to the one that Jesus said to save yourselves from. An untoward (not
easily guided) generation. I pity the children and grandchildren of many in the world
today. What is in the world has crept into the church. May God have mercy upon
this untoward generation we are living in.
I understand what you are saying.. never should something like this be forced...and it should be agreed upon... but I feel a wife should desire to please her husband in all things...and likewise he should her...but men are just wired differently period, and their needs different (women so much more emotionally stimulated/men more physical/visual)
Men should be providing that emotional need for his wife....and likewise I believe that woman should be concerned with the desires of their husbands even if it is different to them.
All the emotional nuturing doesn't come natural to many men (for some harder than others) but both should be willing to please the needs of each other.

Amazing, some of things that are done by saints.
