Today, a book of poetry by Lillie Buffum came in the mail. It is dated 1959. Lilies from the valley, a Bible Bouquet. 70 pages of poetry.
The other book is a directory of churches and religious organizations in Idaho. It is dated 1940. It includes both PCI and PA of JC churches. More importantly, it lists all the ministers and lay ministers in the entire state.
I was hoping to find data in it about a Bible school that was in operation for a few years in Idaho. It may have come after 1940. Probably 1941-1945 or something like that. It did send students to Oakland.
But, I will search the directory for useful data and simply enjoy the Buffum poetry. I wrote Buffums bio and will include it in with Harry Morse. They were in the same social circle. When Buffums music books come up for auction, I pick them up.
Not sure who will end up with the overflowing self published Oneness biographies and the other books that are the byproduct of writing a book. One other book is a history of the Pentecostal movement in Canada.
Hazelwood might want them. The AOG archive will have a say in the pictures. Or they could go to Joplin. Not sure.
Better finish the book before I give away the data
